hello to all,
does anyone know or have any info about the use of this tool ?
the guy who posted this on a forum says that it is a navigation tool that u-boats had but didn't know anything of its use.

In the US Navy (submarines), we have a similar tool used to help visualize the effect of course and relative bearing on speed relative to the target (perpendicular to the target or directly toward or away from)
It can also be used to calculate range (I know, right?), speed, course of a target, as well as help make an educated decision about your new course to enhance your ability to maintain or improve position relative to a target.
Unfortunately, I've never seen one on a US sub with that "arm"... Looks like it could be used to help visualize/calculate a good intercept, too...?

hi Postalbyke,
you mean something like the front side of attack disc that we allready have in-game ,right ? yea seems so but it is exactly this 'arm' that is making it special and interesting.what is the use of this 'arm'.... :hmmm:?
ps: i will tell you something that will make you (and Wolfstriked) very ''huppy''(but don't tell anyone about this yet ,it is secret....:D) ! we decided (with Reaper) to make the obs scope a little bit larger (+52 pixels at diameter) than attack scope in order to give user a reason for risking being detected by using the larger scope ! will post soon pics at U-BOOT-HAHD thread (all are adjusted ...need only to polish some images).
