"Prior to running SH3 Commander you must have run Silent Hunter III at least once in order to set up your Silent Hunter III data files."

Another thing I don't quite remember...do I have to create a carreer in GWX first, and then exit and run SH3 Commander...entering the same info...or the other way around? :hmmm: The SH3 Commander manual only states the above quoted text...but I seem to recall having to remember starting date, Flotilla, name and other stuff, created in one or the other (GWX or SH3C), and this had to be transferred to the other? I know...I'm freakin' confusing myself!

In other words, I had to create a carreer in GWX, exit and transfer the info to SH3C...or the exact opposite.

I'll freakin' get this...just help me rejuvinate a few brain cells! I've tried ale...it's only helping slightly.

Oh, yeah...does the Academy count as "running Silent Hunter III at least once..."?

SH3 Commander then SH3/GWX.

As long as there is a SH3 folder in your C:/ documents folder your good to go.

That and make sure you've got the Commander .cfg files for GWX installed. (Last but not least)... :DL

To add to what's been said already: Create the career in Commander. Set up everything the way you want it. Use Commander to Launch SH3. When you get to the Career screen all you have to remember is the Flotilla and starting year. After that you're set.
