MO Mod Help

Hello all, returning SH3 vet trying to get into SH5 with mods and I just installed JSGME and downloaded MO (the first version) and am unable to get the game working. I'm sure this has already been addressed in the past but I am unable to find anything on the forum. When I start SH5 with the MO mod enabled via JSGME the SH5 loading screen starts then it fades out like it wants to go to the main menu but all I can hear is the stuttering of the menu sound. Any help would be great, thanks!

Did you apply the patch by copy pasting from the patch folder onto mo then enabling via jsgme

"HI Lazlow. Are you sure you have the MO patch2 installed correctly. It should not come up on your list like that. When you download the patch open the folder below in yellow. Copy and paste it to your MO folder. This will overwrite/merge it. Then enable MO via JSGME.
Downloads\Magnum_Opus_v0_0_1_Patch_2\Magnum_Opus_P atch_2\MODS\Magnum_Opus_v0_0_1

Or you can copy and past above folder to your SH5 Mods folder and enable it via JSGME.

I have a feeling your mods folder has Magnum_Opus_v0_0_1_patch_2 in it with the next folder being MODs. This is incorrect. Every mod you have in your MODs folder, the next folder should be data. "

I was doing it wrong at first and mia389 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/member.php?u=248353) advised me the proper way to patch mo :) hope this helps.

Okedoke thanks Lazlow but that did not do the trick at all lol. I did EXACTLY as you said and got the same response, the opening Ubi intro and movie are gone and it loads and when it begins to fade to the main menu the sound just starts looping and I'm staring at black. I tried to uninstall MO and installed a German language mod along with Dark Wraiths TDC mod and it does the same thing, BUT I Ctrl Alt Del and as soon as my task manager comes up the main menu pops up and there I am, I can play! I have no idea what this issue is and I'm pretty sure I'm running JGSME correctly as I have experience from SH3. Thanks again for any additional help!

Be patient as game loading - it's saved game question by UBI, I think...

As I start the game happen to me the same thing and it's take about 2-3 minutes as main menu pop up and after that no problem at all if we left out a mods soap questions :D

You know I think that did the trick I was able to wait it out and it started AFTER I discovered that my version of SH5 was not properly patched, for some reason the updater did not apply the patch and I had to do it manually. Thanks all!
