EA Sports finally gets everyone in the game

After who knows how long, and after a letter written to the Chief Operating Officer of EA Sports, EA's NHL franchise is finally allowing players to create female characters for the game.

The Game releases today, and if I can afford to do it today, I will be picking it up - but I was going to do so anyway, since it's, y'know, hockey.

I almost don't care who writes 'em, I just love playing some hockey whenever the mood strikes (which is often), and EA's is probably the most accessible offering out there.
