Hello all,
I just joined the site as I'm hoping to learn some new tactics from fellow SH3 players.
I have been playing SH3 off and on for the last 5 years and I absolutely love the game.
Anyways, I wanted to share a sweet spot that I found while patrolling the waters NW of Gibraltar.
I call this area "Tanker Alley" as I have encountered a never ending parade of Tankers on this route.
Tanker Alley is located in the NE quadrant of CF33.
Go 12.3 Kms south of the Northern boundary of CF33(NE) and 45 Kms West of the Eastern boundary of CF33(NE) when measured at a scale of 0-13 Kms.
I'm playing vanilla SH3 so I don't know if this sweet spot well work with GWX.
I have completely cleaned house in this area as every 6-8 hours a tanker or 2 will come by like clockwork at the exact same bearing.
The Tankers are all of US origin and they are usually T2's and T3's with no escorts. :yep:
I have created a reference map to help you pinpoint the sweet spot.
Let me know if you're having trouble finding the sweet spot and please let me know how you make out. :arrgh!:
