Well hello fellow subsimmers and shipmates if your out there, today I sit in the USO of Missouri waiting on my flight to my A school, just graduated bootcamp yesterday, it was one heck of a ride that I actually loved and can't wait to see what else is in store for my future! Now I can get back to sinking some tonnage eventually when I get a laptop!

"A" school, uh? Keep your nose clean and study hard to make something of yourself.
Stay out of the bad parts of town, stay out of the bars, keep it in your pants and you should do well.
How do I know? I went to "A" school sonar tech submarines June 1965
Good luck learn all you can and don't forget to save at least ten percent of your money.
I watched grown men spend 2 to 3 thousand dollars in one week after 90 day patrols.

Hey Boot! Get me a beer!
Congrats Casey. You are volunteering for submarines, right? The career counsellor in your school can show you how, if you have not already done so.
Unless, of course, aviation is your thing...

Welcome back :salute:, and well done.
That money-saving tip is possibly the sanest thing you can do, many suggest it, many hear it, but hardly anyone does it - but if you do you will not regret it, unlike the rest of us :wah:

Guy graduates boot, tells his Sub-simming mates about it, and not one BZ?
BZ, Casey, and thanks for your service!
Go subs - easiest way to save buckets of money is not have the opportunity to spend much of it while on patrol.:D

Actually, about that... Not subs, or aviation. more like... "Can I get a 'hoo-rah!' from all my fellow Seabees out there!!??" :)
