I recently bought SH3 from Steam and I can't get the in-game steam to work, I can't take screenshots or bring up my friends list, nothing works in game. I'm wondering if this happens to everyone or it's just me?

If it is just me do you know what's wrong?

Thank you.

Thank you.

Also while I'm waiting, I'm kind of stuck on the very first tutorial mission. It says I have to go to a channel SSE or something?

What do I do?

Danke! :)

Look around you at SubSim, and read the topic on the sides, and perhaps post something if you feel for it, :yep:

What? Look around here at SubSim ... until you get help, that's what I mean.

The steam overlay does not work with all games, and one of the games it doesn't work with is Silent Hunter 3. SH3 is generally fine with alt-tabbing though. Questions about something other than steam might deserve a new thread or something.

There have been multiple SH3 & steam threads. Simple "steam" search should answer most of your questions.

If you want to use the steam overlay, set SH3 to run in windowed mode so you can easily switch between windows.

Look at the map, and look at the compass. South South-East is roughly 150 degrees.
