To all SAS fans:
Just found out today (this actually happened last Friday) in the paper that former SAS hero John McAleese from the famous 1980 Iranian embassy siege has died aged 62 of a suspected heart attack while living in Thessalonika,Greece. This came merely 2 years after the death of his own son from a road-side bomb injury while serving in Afghanistan. To be fair I dont think John really got over the death of his son and he was starting to look quite haggard and troubled, ultimately proving to be too much for the hardened man in the end.
I was in total shock and my sincere condolences go out to his family.
I would also appreciate no sarcastic or off-topic comments (someone invariably makes sarcastic comments to some of my threads/posts,and its irritating) either on this thread, thankyou.
