Hi!
I'm having a very annoying problem lately. The detection system seems not working for some reason. I Keep detecting the same ship like 100 times in 1 minute, still cannot ask watch officer for the range "no visual contact" I can't lock to target even and ask for identification, keeps loosing lock. I'm using GWX 3 with Rikis SH5 water for SH3 v.10 16km. Also I have the fumo up/down mod and it has to do something with sensors. But I tried MEP3 and the Visual sensors fix for anvart's fumo mod, still the same story. Reinstalled the game quite few times right now. No other mods thar refer to sensors. I have no idea what's going on, anyone do ?

Have you tried loading it without the mod and seeing if it works?
Does that mod have its own forum? maybe someone else has had the same problem and has posted about it there.

The target ship is at the very edge of detection range and is going in and out of detection. There is a "no continuous ship spotted mod" around here somewhere. I believe the Lock to Target will not stay locked until the target is within the torpedo range/speed set on the TDC, and then that is dependent on the sea conditions.

It's not the case it happens even if the ship is few hundred meters away. No visual contact and constant reporting ship spotted like 1000 times :). Everything worked fine some time ago but now i have no idea what could cause this. I tried without the sensor files from the FM_up&down no effect ;/

The problem seems to be resolved by using OLC Enviroment. Cool, though I was using others before with no problem. Oh Well OLC Env is very good :)
