Simple question: FOTRS! What is it compatible with? I understand it is a makeover of TMO. So what could/should I install OVER FOTRS that would not crash it? I mean, increment it without soupings-it-up?
And in a general manner, am I better off with TMO? Or TMO with something else over it?
What do you guys have been using?

First of all we would like to mention that TMO (Trigger Maru Overhauled by Ducimus on www.subsim.com) was the base and inspiration of this modpack. Special thanks to Ducimus and all other modders for their work !
In addition we would like to note, that "Fall of the rising sun" is just a modpack and not a mod for itself. That means, that "FOTRS" is a bundle of many already existing modifications. The copyright of each modification belongs to its developer. We just have modified and supplemented these modifications with our ideas. It shall be mentioned thay you are not able to play U-Boat Missions with this modpack. The list of modifications we have used for this modpack are listed below.

Permissions:
"Fall of the rising sun" is open source freeware, made by the SH3/SH4 modding community.
General rule is that mega patches like TMO dont work with other mega mods
Its not easy to figure out what to use and what not to. There is 100`s of mods out there.

lol.....megamods normaly includes some of the standalone mods.
Some megamods are combining other mega mods plus the standalone mods
Its a jungle...
If you use a mega mod like FOTRS you can read the readme to se what mods are included, and im sorry to say this, this you have to do over and over again unless someone "old" give you hes or hers mod list..

Anyway, TB, I cant find anywhere "kelsos01" or (whatever the name is, i forgot). In his post's signatures, there is a link but it is dead. And I downloaded that "3.9.9.9.9.9" sub, enabled it, and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
choose uboot campaign look through the sub list ;) launch campaign
ooooh......just a small thing than can be a prob...when unzipped look into the folder, if there is a duplicate to the first one named the same you have to paste the second one to the mod folder....
unzipped folder juynsen bla bla
open that one. if it gives a new juynsen bla bla you check inside that one....
you need to have folder 1 when you open that there should be data folder etc.....not juynsen then juynsen then data etc
maby someone with better englsih can explain it better...
hope you understand what i meen. when activatet the loading screen should be a japanese dude and a IJN sub....
ps.
just checked my own download, and the duplicate thing happens on that one. when i unzip it it creates the IJN jyunsen B mod vs 3.9.9.9.3 inside that one is another IJN jyunsen B mod vs 3.9.9.9.3 folder opening that one shows the changes, data support folders and some txt files. So it is the second IJN jyunsen B mod vs 3.9.9.9.3 folder you place and enable :)......
This looks VERY cool.....dontcha think? never played it, but now I want too!! I was gonna wait for the next update....I don't wanna end the campaign that I'm on though, but that's another thread.

Silly me. I did some mistake. I re-did the procedure and now it works.
And what about 'kelsos01'? Is it redundant with 3.9.9.9.9.9.9....?
