View Full Version : Guam in October?
Hey everyone,
My wife and I are planning a little trip, which will include a stop in Guam (probably). I was wondering if anyone here knows what the weather is like there in October? Any good hotels to stay with a young child (almost 2 by then)?
I'm grateful for any tips!

I have never been there but I knew guys in the Air Force that where stationed at Anderson AB in Guam they said it was nice all the time but they do have a typhoon season you will be there during typhoon season but that is about half the year.Of course most people seemed happy to leave Guam so maybe it is rain nice rain nice I dont know depends on the time of year. You might want to do some more extensive research.
That doesn't sound too promising then...
What about Okinawa in October? Better or worse?
Any good hotels there, near a beach?

Well I dont know for sure you have to understand a person in the Marines, Air Force or Navy was at Guam they where there for months or years.I dont know what CaptainMattJ. knowledge of Guam comes from he did not say.
For a few days or week it is probably fine but that depends on where else you are going I'm sure Phuket makes Guam look like a trailer park for example.Okinawa might be about the same what ever the regional weather is there(fairly nice it is subtropical) but again you are going to be there during Typhoon season that does not mean for sure there is going to be a typhoon while you travel but that is also the rainy season. Now I have friends that where stationed in Okinawa and they loved it.
