Yep ive played it but not long, brought AoC dec 2010 so started late only quested in the first area think I got to lvl 16 so can't comment much about it - I never got to any major city where I was told thats when the game really kicks in. Looks better than wow, quests were sometimes harder and some things ingame I had to learn from scratch the way I couldn't access certain parts cause of my lvl where in wow you can go anywhere.

I might resurrect my character and give AOC another go - But first I will have to reinstall as I deleted AOC from hdd months ago. :damn:

If I had to choose between AOC, Warhammer Age of Reckoning or WoW,. I would pick AOC for its more mature content.

Now this is PVP,

Reinstalled AoC today & read on their forums that there is a hardcore pvp server so Ive started new on the 'Blood & Glory' server. I'm probably going to get smashed everytime I venture out into the wilderness even in towns you can be killed and your gear from unequipped items be taken. Love it! Trust no one and be ready to stab that sucker who looks at you the wrong way. :DL

I should be okay at the low lvls but later on being in a guild would be my main goal. If anyone plays AoC and is on the Blood & Glory server an invite would be nice. Name. Nimrod - Barbarian (US)



The idea for this server type, which we shall call the 'Blood and Glory' servers for now, is to provide a more 'old school' PVP environment. This will be a server where your reputation and skill will mean something, and surviving will require you to keep your wits about you, and make good friends. It will, in effect, be intentionally uncompromising. This will very much be a 'live by the sword, die by the sword' type of server.

There will be no guards to protect you, so your survival will depend on your own skill and the help of friends and allies. PvP will be re-enabled in Tortage and a player-looting system will be enabled, which may include looted items from your un-equipped inventory and possible generated loot. More details on loot will be revealed at a later date.Source
