Hi, i bought the game from steam few hours ago. I went to multiplayer, logged in with my ubi.com account and when it takes me to the servers screen i see no servers at all. Is that normal? are there no servers? or is there something i've done wrong?
Thanks in advance! :salute:

so any of you guys know the answer to my problem plz? also i'm new here and i'm pretty amazed. I didn't believe there would be a so large and good community for this series, especially SH3. I'm also thinking to get SH4 in the future, once i've seen everything from SH3, which i used to play in the past from a friend and i loved it.
But my big love with submarine simulations was, is and maybe, will be 688i Hunter/Killer...

Welcome aboard!
There are many things to explore in SH3 with all these mods around that it will take you for ages to see them all.

I think very few actually play SH(3) in a multiplay environment. Most just do single player careers. I can't help with suggesting any servers, or even how to set it up, as I never did. But there is a sub-section of this forum about multiplaying SH3. Your question is better asked there, and there may even already be an answer to it.
If you liked 688 Hunter/Killer then you should investigate the Sub Command/Dangerous Waters section. They are the succesors of that game. You'll feel right at home.

I had your same problem once.
I found out that Mcafee had a "firewall" and it would "block" any connection to the internet that I didn't authorize.
Check your firewall, if you have one, and tell it that it is "OK" to connect to ubisoft.com.
:salute: All will be fine for you.

Are you using a router by any chance?

Hi melkor13
If you have got to the Ubi soft server screen then you have no problems at all and everything is working ok.
Sadly the multiplayer is virtually dead, having said that I have seen a game or 2 being hosted most days but it's just a matter of catching them at the right time. Just last week I logged in and there was 3 games being hosted.
The PvP is pretty dire imo, but If you can get a coop game (attacking convoys) going then I think you could find some fun there.
Welcome aboard :)

Thanks for you replys guys :yeah: !
I use a router to connect to the internet, yes, and a firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro).
But all my settings are letting SH3 to access the internet normally.
So i guess, as moose67 said, the problem is that the multiplayer is quite a bit deserted. I'm enjoying the carrier for now, so that's ok for now... Well when my urgue for multiplayer comes back again, i'll consider getting SH4. Thanks guys!

Had similar problems years back with the ports on the router (as did many of us who were into MP at the time).
Check your ports are allowing traffic through, do a ping test.
