Hi All
I have mastered The Mission Editor except the last piece

Quote
4.2 Installing the mission
The mission file needs to be placed in a folder with the same name as the misssion file.located in the appropriate language of the data\singleMissions folder in our example this would be \silent hunterIII\data\singlemissions\English\encounter\en counter.mis

The above is the piece I have trouble with not being that good with the techi stuff. Could someone make it a bit easier for me.

Many thanks

Give the mission a name and place it in a folder you have already created with the same name and place it in the location as set out in your post....the example is using a mission entitled 'encounter'.

Your welcome....but remember, the folder you place the mission in must have the same name you gave the mission.

How do you tell the editor which is the player unit? I've got both Axis and Allied ships in the scenario I'm trying to build, but it's refusing to recognize which is the player unit (I'm Axis, of course).

Also: How do you zoom in and out?

The mouse wheel should do the zooming...

On the right hand side in the tool panel there is: Sub - go to Roster - German. These are the playable subs. Drag one into the scene and go in the properties, there is an option ...human control

I'm not sure if you are aware but the Mission Editor manual can be found in the Documentation folder of the game installation.
