If the federal government can't/won't do their job, the states will, with the backing of the people:

catching Illegal immigrants is good...but not if we start profiling and checking everyone who looks Hispanic. This is america...it's not in our rights to profile.
Or instead we can call it Mexabama:woot:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
i think my gut exploded.
Every single nation on the brief is home to the illegal immigration capitals of the world. and the bill said nothing about latinos specifically being picked out. So, indirectly, these countries are admitting that their people are the ones who are coming across the border.
AND, mexico wants to protect its citizens from....what? what would make them so threatened to be here. Oh wait, theyre here illegally., and they passed an anti immigration bill. And mexico is admitting it. But why are they so concerned? Because they gets billions in money sent back from the illegals they ENCOURAGED to come here.
But, why are they fighting so hard against this? Because of the detaining section? A cop could just as easily detain some random white american teen because the officer thought he was living here illegally. No, these countries, acknowledge completely that their citizens are living here illegally and are trying to defend them breaking the law.
But people in THIS country are turning a blind eye because if they acknowledge the facts, theyre "racist". and god knows that word holds more power then damn near any other nowadays.

Sweet Home Alabama (unless you're an illegal)
I wish my state of New Jersey had something similar for people from Staten Island.

I bet the companies that use illegals in Alabama will keep on keeping on.There are many in FL they do all kinds of work and a legal citizen(Big boss) is the one employing them he will have one or two legal Spanish speakers who often have two jobs one is to house the illegals the other to serve as foreman at jobs everyone in FL knows that this goes on there are also brothels in many towns run by legals with illegals under employ again someone else is paying the brothel owner again likely not a Hispanic person.What many of the illegals do is group their money together and they will live in a the same "complex" the legal Hispanic Foreman/land lord will buy properties with several small single story homes or older trailer homes near each other(works great in rural and semi rural areas) by doing they do not really need any aid from the government (the "big boss" will pay for emergency needs) they fly under the radar and laws like the one in Alabama will not stop very many they will buy a car but oh wait cant get a license if we do we get caught who the hell needs a drivers license anyway?
That law is just a vote getter it wont stop very many(only the competition of the govs supporters) and I bet that the gov knows it because some of the guys that paid for his campaign are the very same ones that are using the above described system or a variation of it.
Such laws will only stop the illegals that do not get taken in by the above described system.
