Oh how true these points are:

There is nothing worse in this world than an enslaved man who naively believes himself free, except, perhaps, trying to explain to that same man his predicament. You can lay truth after truth before his feet. You can qualify your every position with cold hard irrefutable data. You can plead and scream and raise veritable hell, but before he will ever listen, he must first become aware of his own dire circumstances. As long as he views himself as “safe and secure”, as long as he imagines his chains to be wings, he will see no reason to question the validity of the world around him, and he will certainly never invest himself into changing his own deluded destiny.

Let’s examine some of the inherent laws and guidelines of free will and free action that will allow us to not only win back our self determination, but to keep it for generations to come. You want liberty? This is what it takes…

Rule #1: Never Take Anything For Granted
Rule #2: Educate Yourself
Rule #3: Don’t Be A Pansy
Rule #4: Stop Waiting For Others To Tell You What To Do
Rule #5: Cast Off What Is Unnecessary, Keep What Is Effective
Rule #6: Ignore Establishment Labels
Rule #7: Cynicism Is The Path To Defeat
Rule #8: True Authority Is Derived From Respect That Is Earned, Not Bought, Or Taken
Rule #9: Take It Personally
Rule #10: You Are The First And Last Line Of Defense

In this part of the world most people only care about feeding their family.
They are not aware of the importance of civil liberties.
Our judiciary and police force are laughable at best, disgusting at its worst.
In this part of the world you get to hear the expression that it is better for one man to suffer than the whole society.
My country doesn't even appreciate fair and clean general election. Last one is officially the worst general election post reforms.
Scandal after scandal erupted making the headlines thx to the non existence of established dictatorship [yet] and a relatively good freedom of press(best in the region). But still because of the filthy judiciary and police force, those in power can stay in power and only suffered a bruised ego at worst.
In this part of the world the media is telling the importance of character development while the society punish individuals who demonstrated excellent character.

Anyway this society deserves everything it now suffers and it will be a lot worse. They let and put regressed people in power and shun the enlightened ones.

Those who look up to those corrupt people in power in Singapore are thoroughly moronic. Looking at things I believe those in power are trying to build a regime mimicking Singapore only that it will not work. Those stupid people don't realize it works in Singapore because it is just a bloody city. You can control, repress and intimidate people a lot easier if you only have a single city. Had that Lee Kuan Yew ruled here and tried the same thing he would have been overthrown a long time ago. More importantly it does not work at all in Singapore. What this Lee Kuan Yew have built is a time bomb. His regime can only control how much damage and how soon it will explode not whether it will. The reason being that a fool can't help themselves not being a fool. A fool has got to do what fools do.

PS: A man may not be free even when he thinks he is. A man is definitely free when he found he is repressed and take a stand against it. From that moment he is a free person despite the repression he is suffering. The moment a person stopped being afraid to do the right thing he is a free person.

Nice find, good read. In Berlin and Brussel they must hate pieces like this.

This just in: radical libertarians espouse libertarian ideals as grossly oversimplified truth. News at 11.

You need to spend some time overseas because you have no idea how good you have it here.
