View Full Version : Strange UFO object discovered at the bottom of the Baltic

Paul Riley

Did anyone else see this in today's newspapers? .Scientists carrying out a sonar scan of the seabed somewhere in the Baltic have uncovered what APPEARS to be an object that resmembles either the Millennium Falcon?,or some other similar craft.
Its either a crashed UFO (stop thinking about little green men here for a change!) from a distant time, the remains of some ancient underwater base/settlement (I instantly recalled some of the stories I had read about secret nazi bases reported to be under the Arctic and Antarctica at the end of the war) ,or a natural rock formation which I seriously doubt, this thing has a distinct shape to it with clean lines.

Let me know what you think.

I take it you're a sceptic?
Personally this object looks rather interesting, and you cant really blame folk for saying it resembles the Millennium Falcon, because it does.

There are stranger things between heaven and hell, and we only know a minute fraction of that!

We do know little, I'll grant you that, but this kind of thing happens quite regularly and always turns out to be something easily explainable. I see nothing in that 'report' that makes me think any different this time around.

And I think Dowly got it spot on. Sorry.

I remember reading a few years back a news article where scientists picked up on sonar a massive moving object in the pacific ocean they believe it was the size of four football fields in diameter and moving at 100knots or more deep under the ocean. They never could figure out what it was just that whatever it was it was big and moving fast, sending in a sub to investigate was out of the question cause of the speed and depth it was at. Then after about an hr of tracking it, it disappeared. A mothership :hmmm: Or maybe a large school of fish high on some toxic seaweed speeding through the depths, or possibly a sea monster :dead:. Who knows!

Yes, I am. Especially in cases like this, where the object could be anything ranging
from erosion to conviently shaped rock to, well, anything really. ;)

You mean UFO's? Yes, never seen one though I reckon the best place for aliens to hide out is on our oceans at great depths and if they had stealth abilities they could just be lying on the bottom of the pacific or Atlantic 8 miles down and we wouldn't even know about it. Now and then they send out their scout crafts to spy on us these are the UFO's many claim to see yet all along there's massive motherships on our ocean floor waiting to take over the planet. But no need to worry we have Tom Cruise:arrgh!:

As to what it really is... I guess it's a good thing that equipment we use doesn't ever malfunction.

Cylon raider was what I thought of before the Falcon, too.

Finally, a last quote from The Abyss, this time from the inimitable Lindsey Brigman:

We all see what we want to see. Coffey looks and he sees Russians. He sees hate and fear. You have to look with better eyes than that.

When I look at the pic, I think "marine boiler".

If it is not simply a geologic formation, it could be the back plate for a coal-fired boiler, as the holes for the access doors are not present, but could be the front plate of an oil-fired boiler. That square cut-out portion looks to be the perfect spot for the oil injection system.

The Titanic's boilers were 30 feet in diameter.

The team was looking for a shipwreck. Did it use steam propulsion?

Duh...
Geez... what kind of thinking could possibly lead you to such a bizarre conclusion?

It's obvious what happened here. The Apollo missions were not sent to explore the moon. They were construction missions to reassemble the plane inside the crater, with the help of the Roswell Greys that originally brought it there. To cover for the secret missions, NASA faked footage of astronots walking around in spacesuits. Obviously they would not need spacesuits, as the aliens have already terraformed the moon to be inhabitable for all the people they abducted from Atlantis before they sank it to pin Cthulhu to the sea floor.

From Wiki:

The mermaid, or syrenka, is the symbol of Warsaw. Images of a mermaid
symbolized Warsaw on its crest since the middle of the 14th century. Several
legends associate Triton of mythology with the city, which may have been
the mermaid association's origin.

It might be a UFO, it might not.
What you have to remember is that echo sounding/sonar, like light, has shadows. so for all we know it could be a mini mountin range or something stupid like that.

There are stranger things between heaven and hell, and we only know a minute fraction of that!
And some of us, it seems, are ready to jump on anything and everything unexplained and believe it's a spaceship.

Atlantis DID exist,it was part of the Lemurian continent

Lemuria: Lots of modern BS. Not even invented until the 1800s.

Mu: Again, invented in the 19th Century to explain later civilizations. No ancient records at all.

Minoan civilization: A real ancient civilization, recently discovered. The only thing special about it is that it's an ancient civilization recently disovered.

Thule: A mythical, possibly real land, mentioned several time in ancient and medieval sources. The problem is that every mention refers to something different than the others. May be the Orkneys, may be Iceland, may be Norway, may be anything. Nothing special about it.

ancient ET wars on earth: Now that's a good joke. Lots of sites formed by True Believers, no real evidence at all. Here's a good link you led me to:
http://www.philipcoppens.com/bestevidence.html

The one you forgot to include in your Google list was Atlantis, or you would have known that from its mention by Plato it was likely an Island in the Mediterranean (the 'Pillars of Herakles') referred to many different landmarks, not just present-day Gibraltar). Thera is a good candidate, as it was apparently destroyed by tsunami due to volcanic action.

If this thing turns out to be an ancient spaceship I'll be amazed and delighted, for I would love to find such evidence. But if it turns out to be something else, will you stop believing? My final post on this thread,a sort of consolation if you will.

There is absolutely no shame or reason to be embarrassed WHATSOEVER for finding topics such as UFOs,aliens,ET civilizations, nazis on the moon, nazi super soldiers etc etc interesting. On the contrary it is good,as it fires our imaginations, and imagination (thought/consciousness etc) is the seed of all creation.

If people want to call me a nut, fine, but man do I have a great imagination, something mainstream society is seriously lacking these days :03:

Three posts to say you're done? Believe it or not, I was going to let you have the last word with the first one, but the other two goaded me.

It's not that you believe these things, and it has nothing to do with imagination. It's that you post links to different things (except in this case you didn't post the links, you just said "look it up yourself") and seem to think that if we just looked at your 'evidence' we'd become believers ourselves. It's just like the 9/11 guys, who did exactly the same thing. And when someone challenges you on it you try even harder to convince us. Whether you hate preachers or not, that's exactly what all fervent believers do - try everything they can to prove they're right and then accuse anyone who presents contrary evidence of "attacking" them.

It's not that you believe these things, it's just that you try so hard to get others to believe them. Imagination has nothing to do with it, just gullibility.

Sorry for the ridicule, but your ardent desire to convince everyone just pushed all my buttons the wrong way. I learned long ago to question everything I believe, and everything everyone else asks me to believe. At this point I don't believe much of anything, which may be sad but I also feel sad for people who believe anything unquestioningly. You could be right, and as I said if this turns out to be a spaceship I'm going to feel stupid. No, not stupid, because I'm willing to believe it too. I want want to see proof first, not thousands upon thousands of pages of speculation.

Thats your opinion Steve.I dont 'believe' (true believer as you put it makes it sound like religion, like Mormons or something.Trust me,i'm none of that) in anything,I simply have a VERY open mind that refuses to close.
Oh well,we are what we are and no one can change that, and i'm screwed,i'm off to bed

If they're really bottom feeding maybe some side-scanning sonar images will identify them as contenders...

Well we had cold weather here Paul, and just got back to warm seasonable weather this week! So send your heat to us! :O:

I was a bit perplexed by your argument yesterday. I have known Steve virtually for a long time and he is a good guy who I respect. You seem like a good guy too Paul and I find yout posts and ideas interesting even if I don't always agree. Actually neither of you are dogmatic or closed minded-and provide stimulating reading-which is more than I can say for certain other posters I can think of. :nope:

It's more complicated than that mate, I'm Canadian-born and bred (from Vancouver) and came here to study international relations and stayed to work in an international organisation (not the UN). My folks are Greek so I have the fondness for warm weather in the blood despite being raised in Canada. I actually enjoy real cold too since in BC we only get rainy grey winters. :shucks:

I love the winter too, or would if the wife didn't insist on having the heating turned up to 11. And if they'd ban people who can't drive properly on snow/ice (when we get it). :yep:

I've seen some of his stuff on TV and the internet. At least he has the right hair for the job,the aliens he is in contact with must be pretty hostile towards humans!,probably the reptilians from V (the old mini series from the 80s,not that modern garbage with the bird with short hair) :D

Who knows!
perhaps it was a movie

Maybe I do not believe in UFO's enough or my imagination is very low, ´cause I can't see what it supposed to looke like. I can only see a cirkel stones/rocks.

And my criticizm may have been a little overzealous. So we apologize to each other and get on with our lives.

Maybe hot where you are. Here, where it's hot and cloudless all summer every summer, it's been more rain than shine this year. I got drenched walking home from the bus stop yesterday, and it's a mile-and-a-half walk! On the other hand it was still in the 80s, so a warm shower is nothing to complain about.
