Hi Pintea.

If the new 13" Macbook Air can't handle at least SH4 it is going to be a tough sell...

I'll probably stay with my Asus and.... Windows 7.

Thanks, waiting for the results...:salute:

Running SH on a 11" newest Macbook Air. (1.8ghz 256gb hd with 4gb RAM).

SH3, 4 and V installed.

SH3 and 4 are smooth. SHV have to turn down a bit the graphics (v1.2 tested). But it is still playable.:DL

what about a 13" pro with a dual core i5 2.0 ghz? and I think 4gb of ram?

SH5 is the biggest fps eater. From my mac air I can run smoothly if all graphics options are set on low. Now it depends on how you like it. More speed but less details or vice-versa. But Sh5 I would play on both my desktop and on my laptop since now Sh5 has an offline mode. I think your rig would run Sh5 ok.

good stuff just now have to get windows 7 installed on bootcamp!
im so pumped now! looking at the specs the airs have the same graphics card my pro has an intel3000, plus I believe my processor has slightly more power than the airs. I might try upgrading ram to 8gb. You think that would help the graphics performance?

If I could I would've had 8gb of RAM installed. But 4 is the max. I tested SH5 on my Asus with 8gb runs good.

same g card?? Im stuck with this Intel 3000 but if it runs on the airs all they have is intel 3000s so more ram should equal success yes?? on another note, I saw nothing about it being an integrated card, does that mean I could take it to the apple store and get it swapped out for a AMD or such??

The more the RAM the better. It helps a lot. Notice that the Air is 4 GB but is shared memory. But it still veeeery satisfactory running SH3 and 4 smoothly. SH5 is desktop for me :(

I think is integrated. Besides Apple won't change your card for any other that it was original shipped. Only replace for damage/warranty etc. Uncle Job's rule: "You may have bought it from me but you won't hack/open/change/tune my design".

my buddy is a mac nut and he told me diff. he said if you take it to the apple store they'll do just about anything as far as changing things out. but roger that, Im gonna have to check it out. so sh5 good on the air if on low?? Wonder how 8gb would effect me on my pro.. hmm how much is 4 extra gigs anyways?

That's why I chose Mac instead of PC laptop. Bootcamp is a cool feature.

Besides they last longer. Says the legend that HP laptops breakdown a lot and Macs and Vaios are the best. Anyone confirms?
