Man Drops Wallet In Manhole, Gets Stuck

A Ceres man dropped his wallet inside a manhole and got stuck trying to fetch it, police said.Jared Medeiros, 21, was in head first when Ceres police discovered two legs flailing in the air Friday. When police tried to pull him out, his waist wouldn’t budge from the tunnel.The fire department had to assist to pull him out. When they did, about 40 minutes had passed. They assessed his medical condition and found some minor scrapes and contusions. Police said he was slightly intoxicated but not impaired.

We once played a joke on a friend. In high school this guy moved from the north down to NC. He wasn't retarded, just sort of strange acting, very ugly, always getting picked on, so we befriended him. He lived alone down here in a house his parents bought, they never came, really sad.

He never had been on a date and got set up by a friend as a senior. He said he was bringing the girl back to his house. My friend and I broke into his house. He said it was haunted. We hid in the attic, going to start making noises when they arrived.

He came home about midnight, but no girl. We let him get settled, then slowly started making quite bumps and strange noises. We got a lil louder and got his attention. We heard him roaming in the house. Finally we heard him run out the door and peel off in his car. He had no phone, so we feared he was going somewhere to call the police.

The attic was a pull down step. We pushed, it would only open about a foot. There was a closet in the hall under it. He was smart enough to open the door and put a doorstop to hold it, so the attic door hit against it, with the ladder on our side, we didn't have enough opening to get out. We got worried and started pulling the ladder apart. I finally got through with my friend pushing, but I got stuck and was in much pain.

The cops did show and found me stuck in the attic opening. After things got settled, the cops got a big laugh.
