Seems to me this officer was having a bad day and just worked himself into a tizzy before he ever approached the vehicle. Only got worse from there.
I've only been stopped once while carrying and it was no problem; however, the first thing the officer saw as he approached the vehicle was a concealed pistol licsense held out the window.
Comply with the officer's every request until your weapon is in his hands and everything proceeds normally from there.
I am not defending his actions, he was not clear and not diplomatic ... and apparently had a "bad" day, this is a sign that police officers are ordinary people, but which should be representative of the law, which it is doubtful that this was so in this case.

And cops wonder why they get shot at traffic stops. I've been to Ohio, and have had the same treatment from the officers as with this one, and didn't have a weapon, had I had one, I might have considered it with the attitude that I was givin. This type of attitude is not called for by the officers on routine traffic stops. It's that type of behaviour usually why things turn to crap on a traffic stop. One officer who had me stopped for doing " ONE " yes .. 1 mile over the posted speed limit supposedly was so rude I told em to feel free to take me to jail!!! What he didn't know until I pulled it out was the two way walkie talkie that was keyed up, broadcasting on the company freq, and our dispatcher called the police to alert them they were hearing their officer being a "jerk". Two other officers showed up rather quickly and I was kindly asked to "be on my way" ... with an appology from the senior officer. Tis a shame this is the state of affairs of police stops these days.Would have been nice to listen police debriefing after this episode. :haha:

disgusting, cop should be fired at the very least.Umm where is the probable cause for the stop? Sadly this is not isolated. There is a culture among cops nationwide that foster this type of aggression and attitude.
I can speak first hand as at one time when younger I considered being a cop, made friends with quite a few and went on plenty of ride alongs. One could argue cultures in various departments are different but really they are not as these incidents happen often but come to public light more because of modern technology.LE is far too paramilitary now days and lets face, it does not attract the best people for the most part.
No offense to those on here who are retired or active LEO's because of course there are some good ones but you could speak on the culture that exists.
I really can not wait to finish law school and ensure idiots like this are not given the ridiculous amount of power cops have.
