BDU often micromanaged their Uboats, but I'm having trouble finding out much about which standing orders where in place when. I often get radio messages about it in the game, but if I start a patrol or career after it has gone into effect I miss it, so it would be nice to have a type of list that I could keep up with

The only one I have been able to find out about is the 90-day "Stay up and fight" order regarding aircraft in 1943, and the one about not taking survivors after the Laconia. Can anyone tell me any more and some dates? Like, when are darkened ships valid targets, when am I supposed to traverse Biscay submerged, how often am I expected to send in status reports and different times in the war?

thanks

Be aware that none of those orders have any bearing on the game; they are for immersion only. I still follow them, because it's more fun that way.

Good post.
I like to use it to formulate my patrols.
Although it takes some time, it's a whole lot better than "Patrol grid XYZ, and don't bother me".
