Despite the corporate-driven hubbub surrounding the inevitability of “the cloud” replacing personal hard drives as the pre-eminent storage center for all web content, this system represents another dangerous trojan horse for the establishment to complete their agenda to regulate and shut down the free Internet.

We are increasingly being encouraged to put our data on “the cloud”…but what does it mean that our information is being handled by third-party companies?

Everyone is from business to the public want to be part of "the cloud" (sounds like a cult, don't it?), without really understanding it. I do not like the idea of any of my data been stored anywhere but my PC, as it brings up questions like: "how safe is my data?", "what happens if it gets lost/deleted?"

Sorry, but im of the old school of having data on my computer and was always told to keep backups of everything. (just realised I contradicted myself, as I use image shack to store photos on-line...)

Agreed. More to the point, "what are they doing with my data"?
They can go and jump, i'm sticking to external and internal storage devices, right within easy reach.
