St. Nazaire locks- how to get out!?!?

I just started a St.Nazaire-based career, and could not get out of the harbor. I tried both the south and the east gates, but only the outer ones opened, and I couldn't go any further.

I'm using the GWX 3 Wilhemshaven Schleuse and Extra ships v6, which adds locks to St. Nazaire and the Kiel canal.

You need to wait a bit. The locks on one end will open for a few minutes then close. Then the ones on the opposite end will open for a few minutes then close. So when the ones on your end open, you enter the lock and wait while the gate closes behind you. In a couple of minutes the gates in front of you will open and you can then proceed.
