:salute:Ahoy mates.

About 4 or 5 years ago there was a Kaleun who played a patrol in SH3 at speed 1x and wrote a detailed description of events. It was told as a 1st person story with all kinds of stuff. I'm not sure if this was done on the Subsim forums or the Ubisoft forum though.:hmmm:

Anybody remember or has ever heard of this? I'm looking around here but haven't stumbled on it yet.

:rock:Anyhow, can anyone help locating this Kaleun's name?

Thanks.

I remember it well, except for the part where I don't remember his name.

A little more recently our own GoldenRivet did one.

The only thing i remember about the guy that did the x1 and wrote about it was that he got mentioned in a review about SH3.
Now i'll be damned if i know what reviewer it was.
And welcome aboard Woolfman :salute:

Thx. for the links. Good read so far...cant wait to see what happened to GoldenRivet!

Amazing to go out there in x1.

If i win the lottery I'll play a whole career in x1!:O:

What I remember of those excerpts i read, all those years ago, was the composition, text structure and overall readability of the work. It was an amazing read, wonderfully written. I guess some of you guys remember it too. He's probably feeding the fishes by now!

That's it...héhé...thanks again for finding it. Gonna go through it this week!

This guy is a king:shucks: of subsims. I remember how folks rediculed him at first and then, all of a sudden he went from zero to hero. Freak'n iron man in my book this Wrratt caracter, an innovator in his own right as far as i'm concerned.

I'v always believed that persistence in life generates rewards by itself: it doesn't matter what we do, as long as we keep at it success finds a way to reach us. I guess its the same thing in gaming, especially in games like SH3 where so much attention is required to reach our ultimate objectives;to sink ships!

:salute: Good hunting!

Indeed I did, like many others. But Wrratt took it to the extremes. :DL
