Don't know about you, but every time I leave a friendly port I intercept 20 radio messages reporting my position, all under different call signs like "sarcoxic," "trident," etc...

Is this meant to emulate foreign spies reporting the departure of a uboat from port?

Interesting, never thought of it that way. But no, that's not the purpose. The reason you are getting those is that the game gives me access to all the contacts. The problem is I cannot differentiate between good or evil, ship, submarine, or airplane.....they are just a contact. Thus when the mod checks to see if anyone has spotted a sub it can happen that you are spotted by your own ships.

You also have to realize a historical point of view - ships were not necesseraly able to identify immeidately if the sub was hostile or friendly :) :rotfl2:

Also, as a suggestion, you can disable the messages until you out of ports.
