Mop-up operations by the Slovenians (TO) captured 5 officers and 45 Yugoslav (JNA) soldiers fleeing from varius captured border crossings, trying to reach the barracks during the night.
TO forces managed to ambush and stop armoured and supply columns at Videm, Radenci and Kog. Any attempt to relieve the baracks or recapture any border crossings were broken.

JNA in Slovenia lost it's will, suplies and equipement neccesary for any further offensive operation. After the Slovenians promised, they would allow the JNA to go back to their barracks , the JNA generals agreed to a bilateral cease-fire. Helicopters started to fly in supplies and reinforcements, but TO kept their promise. No one fired at them.

Jansa gives his analysis about the biggest advantage the TO had

The battle for Slovenia was won. Now it was up to the politicians to prevent another attack. Yugoslavia was still powerfull enough to level the country.

Not much to write about the third of july. Mop up operations and a cease fire. EC fat cats were congratulationg themselves they stopped a war. They had no idea what was instaled for the region in the next five years
