The main news of the day were the Slovenia-Croatia-Yugoslavia peace talks, sponsored by the European Community and monitored by three EC foreign ministers. Since Slovenia was a war zone the talks were held in Zagreb. A cease fire was declared, but neither side adhered to the agreement. The war continued. Slovenia knew the might of the JNA once fully mobilised combined with Slovenias (TO) guerrila attacks would turn Slovenia into Vietnam, Ljubljana into Stalingrad. Foreign intervention would be needed before half the country is turned into ash.

JNA soldiers also hoped for a quick end. Hungry, frightened and running low on supplies had enough of being shot at by the TO and their own officers. They were drafted into the JNA, they were not interested in fighting Slovenia, even less dying there. Meanwhile in Belgrade, angry parents of conscripts storm the Serbian parliament and demand the return of their sons back home.

Serb mother: I beg of you as a mother with two sons in Vrhnika... (bring them back in the barracks, they sit in their tanks like clay pigeons)
The war continued like the days before. Where the TO had a tactical advantage they'd go on the offensive. Where JNA held an upper hand the TO would harras them and cut their supply lines. Baricades once broken trough would be rebuilt after the advancing column, cutting them off.
In a besiged JNA fuel depot a junior officer kills his commanding officer, who wished to surrender and then threatens to blow up the depot. He never makes good on his promise, his own soldiers subdue him and surrender. JNA depots are being destroyed and TO held transmitters are being bombed from the air. TO runs a guerrila war and there are no depots to be bombed. JNA by-the-book taught officers get increasingly frustrated.
Amateur radio operators keep intercepting reports from the besiged barracks: food only for one more day. Supply trucks keep getting destroyed while trying to breach the barricades. The column at Medvedjek still blocked.
TO captures another 7 tanks and combined with the ones captured a day before forms the first tank brigade.

Policemen during combat and (a rare sight during wars) surrendered JNA soldiers posing with a TO soldier (large mustache guy in middle). Conscripts were given civilian clothing and sent home, there were not enough resources to detain POW's. None of them actually returned to JNA.
Fighting went on, talks went on. In Croatia fighting between Croats and Serbs erupted. The first smoke of the nationalist fed wars that would turn the Balkans into a bloodbath.
