I would use this $8.99 offer: http://www.amazon.com/Silent-Hunter-Wolves-Pacific-Gold-Pc/dp/B001BBS8B0

Or maybe look down on the page to the bundle of SH2+3, SH4 Gold and SH5 - all for $17,58...

Sold by inetVideo - they do have an UK site too, but there the price is the same - but in british pounds!!

Not sure what you mean by ideal paymethod? I use the one-click-buy, which is ideal for me... :D

You may of course use MasterCard, VISA, PayPal etc. etc.

If you think the above is too cheap, you may have a look here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B001BBS8B0/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all
Some are (tried) sold for $90... :88)

The last couple I got from Germany arrived after 3 days in Denmark. UK mail usually is the same 3 to 4 days :ping:

Oh... wait a minute.... :hmmm:

I do still have some floating in the house. We can make a deal, if you like?

PM me your address, make a donation to Subsim.com instead and I'll ship the unopened DVD to you - how about that?

Indeed the problem with buying online is that most sites will not ship to some specific countries.

I STRONGLY suggest avoinding STEAM, which is basically a huge pile of s***t, to put it politely.

I do like GAMERSGATE, where I have being buying all my games for several years now, without complaint.

"iDeal" is a secure online payment method designed by the major dutch banks: (wiki)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDEAL

It neatly and securely meshes from the Online shop site, into the different online banking systems of these major banks.

So unless you buy it at a online store that has a consumer focus in the Netherlands (www.bol.com would be my first guess) then you're not likely going to be able to buy that way.

An alternative payment option I know of is common all over the world is Paypal.: (in dutch)

https://www.paypal.com/nl/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/general/HowToPayPal-outside

It seems you can use it with an ordinary bankaccount, as opposed to only with a creditcard. That wasn't possible when I opened my paypall account years ago. So it don't have much experience in how safe that particular option is. Basically, to pay for something, you choose the Paypal icon on the site of the online shop. And eventually when the payment is supposed to be done, the site opens up a secure transaction (over HTTPS) to the Paypal site for you to confirm the payment. You authenticate with username and password, so make sure it isn't a simple one to crack. With iDeal you have additional challenge codes (from TAN tables or SMS, or from these special calculator thingies) to verify you are the right person. Which is I guess a bit saver than Paypal. You or your parents have to make a trade-off is you want to risk it. But nobody can guarantee 100% safety. When the payment is done, Paypal simple deducts the amount (after currency conversion) from the creditcard/bankaccount.

But finding an online shop that actually can supply a copy of SH4 1.5 to the netherlands is difficult indeed. I've seen a lot of long delivery delays at the various online shops, suggesting the game is well out of stock. Well a year ago or so.

Oh yeah, gamersgate does not accept this 'ideal' (so far I have never heard of it). Only major creditcards and 'paypal'.

Paypal is mostly universal, works everywhere, it is safe and respected, and has some interesting payment methods (for instance, you can 'credit' money in your own paypal account via easy banking procedures, and then spend away this money as you see fit).

I myself use it and never experienced any problems. My suggestion would open a paypal account.

:hmmm: I think you'll have trouble finding an international store that supports the iDeal payment method.

But PM me your address and I'll ship you the DVD anyway. :salute:
You then owe a donation to Neal, which you can sort out later when you find someone with a PayPal account.

Or you can ship him the money to his address here: http://www.subsim.com/sh2fleet_forms/donation.htm

He even accepts Ruppees! :rotfl2:

I think that most people here in this forum would say that, if you are having problems or disapointments with SH4, going to SH5 will not be a positive change.
