Very Belated thank you guys!!!
On vacation now, finally have internet access.
As I mentioned before I left my job in January. Never had a problem finding a job before, figured I could walk into anything. Well it took 5 months to find a job. Working in a factory now, good company, good prospects there, but we still have our internet and cable turned off to save money. Miss you guys fiercely.
And to answer the questions, I just got sick of the medic business. Not the work, I loved the work. And I would go back in a heartbeat if they would pay what I'm worth. 12 years in the field, Critical Care certified, trying to get my instructor cert, and I'm now making more per week in a unskilled factory job.

Mine's two pints :yeah:
An all-year-round birthday - does he know - that's a lot of cake! :o And it'll be going stale soon? :nope:
Can we get Onkel Neal to change his rank to 'Perpetually 33' - that'll make the new kids wonder...

I think the cutoff time for birthdays is 3 months (*randomly inventing a rule*), so happy birthday! :woot:
I wondered why you submerged so long, glad you found a job, 5 months on the hunt is nothing I envy. So I hope you'll get back on line soon!
And giving me a beer saves you money - in contrast to our English and Slovenian friends, our glasses here are only 0.2 liters. So I take only one glass - for any day that's your birthday - this makes 74 glasses so far! :O:
Cheers!

... in contrast to our English and Slovenian friends, our glasses here are only 0.2 liters.
The glass size you refer to is pictured below, fourth from the left, whilst next to it at the end is a just-smaller-than-a-British-pint glass. I know which I'd prefer, and also a glass of beer is a glass of beer here, not a glass of beer is half a glass of beer and half glass of foam!

Well, ideally it'd be the Litre jug on the left, but I'm not a greedy person :arrgh!:

Bitburger is from the barbaric regions across the river. And the glasses are about 0.3 liters, my guess is that the Einbecker next to it is also 0.3 as it comes in 0.33 bottles - never drank it from a glass ;)
I have never tasted the Aventinus in the middle, but the pale color makes it look like used beer...
Here is a size comparision:

Our delicious brew is the one in the middle. On the left, in the flower vase, is the "beer" from Cologne, also in 0.2l "glasses".
The picture shows a dangerous situation, if the Alt and Kölsch glasses would touch each other, the world would explode...:o

YES :DL And let me continue the topic:
I preffer the 0.3 glasses. I can't drink a pint fast enough without that nice cold beer turning into a warm glass of stinking liquid. I usually order two small bottles (0,3) than one regular (0,5) to keep it cold

Jup, this is the reason why small glasses are better, provided that the resupply works.
I don't understand those primitive tribes in the South, like the Bavarians, who let their beer become warm in their 1l Mass glasses.
Happy smurfin' B-day.:salute::woot:
wouldn't this be considered swearing, in relation to Gargamel? :know:
I mean this is the equivalent to saying "Happy satanic bday" to a devout Christian :D

Either drink faster :yeah:, or drink real ale - the stuff that doesn't need to be cold :yeah:.
And how do the Slovenes fill the glass, with liquid or foam? :hmmm: :arrgh!:
