Oh well, time for some people to be playing silly buggers again.
Will it calm down before the marching season ?
Will the volunteers have to settle their internal dispute by just killing off the belfast leadership?

Meh, same old rubbish from Ireland. Not my problem, I say cut off all international aid and watch it burn.

what about an u-boat blockade? :03:

The article is quite brief, I also found not much in other media. Is there anything more to the story? Something particular that incited the troubles? Just bored kids or planned violence by the UVF like some media states?

This is a short article. In fact, I have no idea why the riots. I see a person running with fire. Looks like a hockey game riot one would see in Canada! :DL

It's the usual silly buggers at this time of year but slightly earlier and with a bit more intensity as the local UVF leadership is in dispute with the rest of the UVF.

Just like a Leeds United match in the 1980s :hmmm:

The main fear is (seeing as how it has lasted for two consecutive nights thus far) that it may spread to the rest of the province.

Thats the worry, especially with the 12th coming up. To make matters worse the pricks from RIRA seem to be showing up there I suppose in an attempt to try and forget their dismal turnout in Derry at Easter

I'll give it a week and reserve judgement until it has diminished or escalated...but I'm hoping for the former.
