The leaders of Germany and France have said that they want a new rescue package for debt-laden Greece to be agreed as soon as possible.

Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy were speaking after Greece's Prime Minister George Papandreou announced a cabinet reshuffle.

The changes include a new finance minister, Evangelos Venizelos.

Mr Papandreou wants to impose political stability as Greece awaits approval for the next tranche of bail-out money.

"We are facing the greatest threat our country has experienced in recent decades," he told his new cabinet.

Mrs Merkel and Mr Sarkozy met in Berlin after a public disagreement between their governments over whether private investors should be forced to assume a greater burden to resolve Greece's debt crisis.

That super-stupid Merkel once again - like almost always - allowed to get bamboozeled, now trying to sell a win of Sarkozy and a total giveup of formely claimed German adamant positions as a win to the Germ, ans at home.

Over the past 12-18 months I really learned to hate this stupid woman and her Euro-masochistic poodle, Schäuble. Big mouthed propaganda bitch and an obsequious Europhile idiot willing to cripple Germany completely to show Europe what a good German he has become.

The banks once again have triumphed and have been allowed to get away, thanks to arkozy'S win. The claim that voluntarily they may particpate in bail-out - WTF, how stupid does this women think people are to consider that as valid concession of realistic value? Nobody does voluntarily throw money out of the windows, and now they tell us that banks are invited to voluntarily do so, and sell this BS as a win? The bill will be payed by the tax payers from the paying nations in Eurostan - they have once again to shoulder the debts, while all wins will remain private and bank-owned.

If somebody would have told me ten years ago that Europe would turn into such a retarded dollhouse so soon, I wouldn'T have believed it. Stupid they always have been, but it seesm they have called a new game to break benchmark record for stupidity and irresponisbility every month now.

This EU bull#### makes me sick. To hell with it all.

Piss on the EU, those that control it, and all their puppets.

Nothing like "a-little" more dept, and the interest that goes with it, for The Banksters to control, along with "our" corrupt politician.

I've no issue with Germany and France bailing out Greece just so long as it is German and French money they use to do this.

The problem there Jim is its all connected, if a little village in the arsend of the dull side of papua new guinea put their money in an indian account of a bank that was dealing through china that had lodged an interest in America with a speculation in Greenland because he wanted to avoid Iceland and that speculation in Greenland was routed via the Maldives to France with a side bet to Lichtenstein and all ended up dependant on some dumb tobacco farmer in Rhodes buying a piece of land that he wants to not grow tobacco on then the problem from some dumb farmer goes all the way to some village clerk who wanted last years donkey road tolls put somewhere safe.
There is no real French or German money in the issue as its all so interconnected.
It is why it is such nonsense for Sky to rant about the EU or Germany or France as that is such small change in the scope of the problem as to be irrelevant

No, its the strange form of capitalism that has evolved where people want to gamble with massive stakes but will refuse to accept that it was a gamble when they have lost
