I'm extremley insulted by all of you offendending me and my submariner-ining ability. I am so much better than all of you at getting those blowing-up things at the Tommies that I once sunk the King George V from 800m, stationary, in clear, kalm weather with my AA gun!
So, before you go on insulting me, I have decided I will post some pro-tips a little later showing you all how to be actually good submarin-like-people like me. Especially you, Frau Kaleun. You're the one who started all this and I bet you couldn't sink the Bismarck with your torpedoes! ...wait, wasn't she on my side?

:salute: I fail to see that someone has insulted you, I think it all has been based on some misunderstanding, this forum is not occupied by the atmosphere, with personal attacks, and as I hope (believe) that it is a misunderstanding of either party, you're welcome just like any other.

Now it so that the name Bernard, is a symbol of something going wrong in the submarine, and this is not an attack to you personally, the link you referred to was from 2005, I would not draw a negative conclusion on this, if I was in your shoes, this must have happened in the heat of battle, and is nothing personal, attacks directed against you,I can guarantee that for you.

Bernard finally standing up for himself. Well it was bound to happen some time. We've been harassing the poor guy for so long, it wouldn't surprise me if the he is going to take some kind of horrible revenge. I guess we should all sleep with one eye open from now on....
(by the way, shouldn't anyone tell Vendor... aah never mind :D)

we are proud of being one of the friendliest, cleanest and humourous community around, so if you choose to feel offended, it's most probably not our fault.
Why someone who asked in another thread what is an uboat or Great Britain and claims here to be a noobie chose Bernard as a user name, frankly eludes me, but I have some kind of dejavu feeling with you. :hmmm:
