Most here in the states have their heads up their torpedo tube, to care, or too care what time it is.:woot:If we don't know about it, maybe it will go away.

That is a very interesting clock and you can even check the past or the future projections not only for the national debt but all the states as well.
You start adding up all the various debts and it's staggering what each tax payer owes.
Kinda wish some of our elected officials would look at it every once in a while.

Should make it a law that it run between the flags in both houses and the oval office as a reminder.

Ireland 1000% External Debit? What do they still have to pay their British landlords for the boat tickets of people who came over here during the Potato Famine? Because as much as I like Dr. Who I ain't paying that back! :O:

"A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon we're talking about real money."
-Commonly attributed to Senator Everett M. Dirksen, but as usual there is no proof he said it. It is, however, a nice commentary on Congressional thinking.

Our debt ratio was quite low up until 2008. Then we decidied to guarantee all bank deposits unconditionally.
And that worked out just great.

Long may it continue...

Most people in the U.S.A. would look at that and think,
Oh!! That's pretty!
And then turn on the TV and ignore the problem.
Unless you walk into every Home in the U.S.A. and slap them between the eyes?
They care nothing about a big picture and swallow everything feed to them by the media.
Unemployment claims are down, that's good.
Yea, they are down because people ran out of benifits so are no longer on the lists and can not file!
How do you boost an Economy?
Start a War somewhere.
Tried that and that is a dismal failure also.
I plan on things getting much worse very soon.
