Shift+F2.
BTW, has anyone ever noticed that you can get from the Control Room to the Conning Tower by clicking the hatch at the top of the ladder behind the crewman at the map table? And you can get from the Conning tower to the Bridge via the hatch at the top of the ladder on the left? You can also get back to the Control Room from the Conning Tower via the hatch in the floor, but you can't go back anywhere from the Bridge. :hmmm:
Also, these links don't work if you use the Shift+F2 method. They only work if you're in the room normally.
Hey Fred I remember that..How do you get your person to move,walk?....:hmmm:

Don't remember stock but in TMO the arrow keys move left and right, forward and backward and "home" and "end" will move you up and down.

You don't really need much math, just be able to draw a few lines on the map and maybe a triangle and you set to go.
Start in late 43 or early 44 and you have radar and it's pretty easy if you use map contacts on. That is the way I play now, more fun for me than all that 100% thing.
You work so hard at getting the game running I hate to see you not enjoy it.
Well we're always here to help anytime you need it.
Oh and stay out of that hospital thing will ya. :sunny:

Holding the shift key will let the above move you around a little faster too, if your knees can stand it! I'm pretty much in the same age group, guys; we may be getting older, but as they say, growing up is something else again!

When I was running TMO that was the case - not only inside the boat, but also outside, in the conning tower, anywhere. Then I installed Operation Monsoon and it stopped working. The nice people here told me about the shift+F2 trick, but it only worked inside and I could no longer use free movement anywhere else...

My guess is OM overwrote the camera.dat file in TMO. That's the file that controls the free camera, among other things. If you want the TMO range of movement back, uninstall OM, delete its camera.dat, then reinstall.

BTW, it's my understanding that OM is for the U-boat side, while TMO is for the US side. So depending on what side you're playing, you don't need both installed at the same time anyway.

Your understanding is correct. With MultiSH4 you can have several installs and there is absolutly no need to mix and match different games that don't belong together anyway.

Yeah, more or less. That is true for side picking, but OM installed over stock left me with poor graphics (or what i considered poor. Besides, I missed TMO's improved interface). I just could not get used to it. Then I tryed the complete OM spread of mods, with TMO OVER them. Came out buggy. Now I am about to try OM OVER TMO, and who knows what will happen.
