:har: midlifecrisis?

Congratulations! :yeah:

I hope you're taking the news better than I did. Xmas day 2007 away in the Lake District for a couple of days expecting to drink and walk lots. :nope:

I think I'm pregnant!

Nah!

I really think I'm pregnant!

*Silence*

Are you okay?

We'll get a test.

Okay.
Next day
It's negative, but I still say I'm pregnant.

Nah!

Another one negative, but I still say I'm pregnant.

Can't be, two tests say no.

Third says no too, but I am, I'm certain.

Look, three tests say negative, take the 'king hint! :damn:
Next day, several more (not cheap!) tests later

Told you I was pregnant.

No your not!

Am.

Are not.
Just before first scan at around three months!
Okay, so you are pregnant. I hope it's a girl. And not ginger.
Just before second scan.
Do you really only want a girl? Will you be really disappointed if it's a boy?

Yep! :o

After that I really came round to the idea, now I even work part-time to spend more time with her (for it was a girl :yeah:), she really does mean the world to me and I've never been happier than holding her. A girl after my own heart - by 2½ she already wanted to skydive (she'll be booked on a AFF course as soon as she's old enough - non of this tandem malarky), and three months later she's admitted to wanting a motorbike when she's bigger.

Again, congratulations.

PS - It may be a bit early yet but my advice is don't use a dummy, don't stick TV on when he/she's around, and baby-led weaning is great, as is baby yoga!

Thanks gents (and lady). We literally just found out today, so, you know, things could go wrong... and she's sworn me to silence until we get past... what is it? 13 weeks? Whatever. Anyway this is the internet so it doesn't really count as telling! And I just had to tell someone. So you guys are it. :O:

But seriously thanks for the congratulations. :yeah: :D

Oh and a name change... hrm... er, nolifecrisis? :rotfl2:

From one Father to (now) another, all i can say is that having a child or children is THE best thing in life. Teach them right from wrong, love them unconditionally and allow them to be whatever they want to be!

When your wife's girlfriends are patting her stomach and saying congratulations, don't feel bad when no one pats your crotch and says "good job!" :Kaleun_Cheers:

YAY and Gratz

When we found out my wife was pregnant with twins..

I shouted "YAY one each!" :D

The wife shouted "Give me a Gun!!" :03:

Whilst the other 'expectant fathers' on hearing the news cringed and looked rather worried as they glanced sidelong at their as yet unscanned wives:rock:

The twins were born at 26 weeks, weighing in at.. 1lb 11oz and 1lb 14oz and are both heading off to university this year.

Sooo I wish yoo both all the best as yoo begin this incredibly, terrifying, Joyous, rewarding and fullfilling journey :know:

Cheers

Congratulations.

Get some sleep, you'll need it. Put as much as you can in your sleep bank now, you'll be overdrawn very soon.
