Maj. Dick Winters, of Derry Township, died on January 2 aged 92. He was buried in a private service at Bergstrasse Evangelical Lutheran Church cemetery. Winters was commanding officer of Company E, 506 Airborne Division whose service was depicted in the book and HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers.”
