In Los Angeles, you used to see multiple police squad cars parked in front of local doughnut shops all the time; because of the percieved stereotype (and public questions about why are so many cars idle), the Los Angeles Police Department issued an order banning officers from taking breaks at doughnut shops. The shop owners were not only upset about sales loss, they were upset about losing their 24 hour security...
