There's an excellent link to a TV2 stream there too which is from a helicopter orbiting the launch pad. Fifteen minutes to go all being well. :salute:

Go go!

Launch put back by fifteen minutes. Now 15:45 CEST. The TV2 helo looks like it just repositioned, so it's probably had to back out of the launch area for safety reasons during the last minutes.

The curtrent weather at Bornholm: http://www.bornholm.tv/

looking good, wind at only 1.4 m/s. The clouds start at 3400 meters, so we'll definitely see some launch pictures filmed from the ground

Ah, the chutes failed, but they did actually launch, so that's something. Just means it's going to be a hard impact.

Great work all involved at Copenhagen Suborbitals. I hope the data from this launch forwards the goal of the project greatly. I do ponder what the G forces on the dummy at take-off were, that was a very fast launch. :salute:

Penguin
06-03-11, 09:52 AM
Yes the start looked pretty fast, much like a V2 - wait a minute, this in combination with the fact that the rocket was launched from Bornholm, very close to Sweden: Could this be a cover-up for the Danish plans to reconquest Scania? :o
Vendor, stay alert! ;)

to send it into orbit?

Here is the video of the launch, from TV2, that some us had problems to access via livestream. They filmed the launch from tv with a webcam at åhus control, so we were able to see it this way. Thsi has of course got much better vid and audio quality:

the first post has links to the project and its purpose
