With the new EU law coming into effect regarding the collecting of users information via "cookies", here is a useful site that explains what it is and how it will affect users, and has an alternative (Firefox users only currently).

All cookies are generally blocked on my system. Every cookie I want/need to accept, must be manually unblocked.

Current number of cookies on my system: in the one-digit-range.

Cookies are one thing.

Me, having a static IP address, I am always recognised and welcomed by Google as sitting here in Flensburg, Germany. No matter if I cleared my Temp/Cookies before going online.

This is a setting issue, and even some of the primary safety ... all text files(Cookies) are not dangerous.
