They're doing it again this year. For those who haven't heard of this (you really need to move out of that cave :D) a guy named Doug Carrick puts a webcam with a view into an eagles nest. You can watch the two eaglets grow from egg to adult. I find it a nice way to wind down after a hard days work.

It was pitch black when I just looked. All I could hear was a noise like a idling car engine with radiator fan noise. Weird!

It's 1:12 AM there, it's off the west coast of Canada, BC my home province that's why. Really cool link.

These whitehead guys are awesome! Just a shame we haven' t got any of them living here... (not in a zoo).

You know there is one kind of them, Steller's Sea Eagle, with up to 2.30 meters of wings?

That's pretty cool.
We had a guy on another forum who did a similar thing with his cats litter of kittens... oh my! they were cute.

But a word of warning subsim viewers! We trashed this chaps bandwith unmercifully for over a month with the craving for cuteness :D

How amazing is it that I can be here on the East Coast of the US and see eagles on the West Coast of Canada in as-good-as-real-time?

Thanks for the link - this is just too cool.

It's very nice that it has sound. It's nice to just leave running in the background and hear the birds around the nest. :yep:

Thanks for this, I had my sound off so if it wasn't for you mentioning it, I wouldn't know it had audio too :haha:
