Seems I'm always a nervous wreck over something. So this fits me pretty well.

Umm I think the thread is about the thing that you consider to govern your life not about the definition of life.
Putting that into mind do you mean that mortality is the one thing that govern yours?
Well damn if you say no and damn if you say yes :O: because to be honest most people never really think about death until they are old and even when they do they never give it deep thoughts because they never able to understand it.:DL It would be like giving God or end of days a deep thinking. Simply out of mankind comprehension and power.
Umm I think the thread is about the thing that you consider to govern your life not about the definition of life.
Life is a journey. If you look at it any other way you are fooling yourself.
Putting that into mind do you mean that mortality is the one thing that govern yours?
I didn't say that.
Well damn if you say no and damn if you say yes :O: because to be honest most people never really think about death until they are old and even when they do they never give it deep thoughts because they never able to understand it.:DL
Trust a youngster to know what most people never really think about. :DL As you get a little older you'll realize that such claims are the height of arrogance.

Indeed. I totally agree with this. In fact this is I view life too. Simply passing by. We never really own anything but time that we are given and the deeds that we will be taking.

I'm not a youngster :O:. That opinion came from experience. So it is genuine and in my view true. People are so busy with their life that many even forget to live. Now if many people forget to live, even more people forget about their mortality. People ignore their mortality until they are struck with situation that reminds them, perhaps a sickness or a tragedy.

You seem to think the whole world is insincere accept you. You seem to think most people never really think about anything. I'm with August on this one, sounds a lot like pubescent arrogance.

What percentage of the 7 billion people on this planet have you met or talked to online that would justify making such a claim?

And yeah how would it be any different to say put one word that govern your life?
I think you are not getting what I wrote with respect to August post.:hmmm:

I never said people never really think about anything. In fact to the contrary I'm saying they are preoccupied with too many things that they often to forget about the important ones.
And what I think about the world is my rights as it is my experience. In other words that is how I experience this world which is lacking sincerity and conscience. :DL
And I would think it is an arrogance to view other people sincere and honest opinion one.
I never said people never really think about anything.
Sounds like we need a new poll thread.

I originally wrote "misspent", but upon reflection I think that implies that I did a lot things I should regret, as in "misspent youth".
All things considered, I'm more inclined now to come up with something like "wasted", or "useless" or maybe "over".
Me? Depression? Nah, never happen.
