Our new Irishman-in-chief, seems to have a wee bit of a problem.

I thought they researched this stuff before the prez gets there, not after the fact.

Excellent start for Europe tour.

What will happen in London? Too little space to turn in street corner? :DL

Yeah. They could have painted "TARGET HERE" with nice big letters to rear passenger doors as well...

Not for the POTUS motorcade.
They filled the potholes on the road for him, what more does he want?

All the routes that the POTUS will be traveling should be examined and tested for trafficability for all the vehicles in the motorcade.

Any road that can't handle the motorcade is excluded from the list of primary, secondary, ... routes that the USSS plans out.

Nothing is assumed, presumed, or untested.

They may not be fired, but they won't be working protective services anyway. And rightfully so. This is an inexcusable error in judgment and implementation.

Could you imagine if there was an incident and the POTUS' beast could not leave the area??:nope:

Actually Jason I've been thinking and this ranks up there with my own personal experience regarding a stretched limousine when I arrived at Houston the other year :DL

This was even here in Germany in the TV news, nice laugh.

It wasn't a road, it was the US embassy driveway.

If it makes you feel better, substitute "traveled way" in place of "road"

What possible difference would it make if that car couldn't leave the driveway? If it couldn't leave the driveway then it would be stuck at the embassy which isn't a problem
Unless of course you think the embassy isn't a safe place to keep ther president during an incident in which case he can just drive out the other entrance like he did or simply fly out.

Naw the clearance was sufficient until all those fat butt politicians got in.
Pity it was the "spare" then without the politicians in it, must be those fat butt secret service guys, just like it was with the preceeding car which also bottomed out on the driveway.

Actually it would be stuck in the driveway... outside the building. Even thought the new beast is designed to withstand attacks when stationary, it still is not a good thing.

I hope you are not suggesting that in case of an attack that the USSS would take the POTUS out of the beast and walk him, in the open, to the back door of the embassy. That is not exactly a secure plan. :)
