Problem with /3gb boot.ini

I use the /3GB option in my boot.ini

When I start my game everything loads perfect, no lags in maps, harbours show, etc. but i have one problem:

My zentrale, or chief room doesn´t texture well. I see everything black but the officers. When moving some textures show and some not. Another places in the sub render textures perfect.

My specs are: Windows XP, with 2 Gb. of RAM.

Does it happen to any of you?

I'm guessing the textures aren't loading into memory?

Because the game now renders the world and the inside of the sub at the same time. I would guess that you've run out of memory, that the textures could be loaded into.

The only fix I can think of would be to upgrade your computer system.

The system is an AMD 5600+ (2 cores), with ATi 5670 1024 DDR3, and all the other stuff i told in the last message (XP 32bits with 2 Gb. of RAM)

Are you sure this specs aren´t enought?

Your specs are enough to run the game.... Your cpu is the minimum... but with only 2gb of ram and a 1gb video card... that means the your system only has 1gb to allocate to the game. 1gb is used by your video card leaving only 1gb for the game.

What this will mean is that some textures, harbours, ships, objects, etc. will not be loading into mem... as you dont have enough.

Enabling the 3gb switch will help (this is virtual memory, so you don't need 3gb or more of ram)... but wont solve the problem completly.

To solve the problem completely... I would recommend a 64 bit operating system with 4gb ram.

Everything is working smooth but zentrale with that dark place. Outside and inside.
