Happily, there is probably no quicker road to pop obscurity than being promoted as "the next...."

What would happen to the pop music community if they didn't have Autotune ? :nope:

What would happen to the pop music community if they didn't have Autotune ? :nope:Well, for starters we wouldn't have jessica black, jenna rose and this clown.

We all know the world's gonna end in 2012, but I never expected the end to start with music:-?

Having successfuly avoided exposure (so far) to the musical stylings of the last Justin Bieber, I'll take a pass. :dead:

I guess I should say I've avoided it "for the most part" as one of the little ones in my kenpo kids' class was singing something last week and his brother told me it was a Justin Bieber song. Fortunately he stopped after I threatened to revoke his Man Card and take him shoe shopping. :O:

Thanks for the warning...

After considerable thought, (lasting about a whole millisecond), I too have decided to take a pass. Discretion (they say), is the better part of valor, and so I have decided to exercise courage and seek legitimate entertainment elsewhere. :D

They'd find performers who could actually sing? :yep:

Oh well back to listening to Muse, Matthew Bellamy can sing and even more had classical training and it shows. Adele and Mika are two performers I had a listen to last night who have good voices and are pretty recent-not a huge fan of either especially Mika's ummm "flamboyant" style but they have talent. :O:

Also listened to some old Motown stuff with some friends yesterday-Stevie Wonder, the very young Michael Jackson and this duo.

I blame young teen girls for crap like this. Young teen girls are NOTORIOUS for having horrible tastes in music. Thanks to them, we got Kieth Partridge, Lief Garrett, New Kids On The Block, NSYNC, Justin Bieber, etc...:DL
If young teen girls didn't have such horrible musical taste, there wouldn't be a market for this mass produced, cookie cutter, bubble gum sweet, crap.

As bad asit was, it didn't warrant threats of death to the poor girl. I mean, seriously. Who makes death threats to a fourteen year old girl? I'd argue that's far more dysfunctional than a kid singing about her life at school on Friday.

Agree 100% In hated that song but felt sorry for the girl.
