Is it me or is there very little to do there?
My first patrol was great, I spotted a large convoy and sunk a tanker on the way to my objective, and on the way back I got two freighters. But now it's just patrol here, patrol there..
They often tell me to go to somewhere near Kamchatka too, but there's no ships there. It's too far to be able to head to Japan too, with enough fuel to come back.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Historically, this area was pretty sparse for Japanese shipping. Probably best to park yourself off Attu or Kiska islands as these are the only points Japan captured in the Aleutians, and constitute the only garrisons it needs to supply.

If you're playing stock it's rather sparse and random. RSRD adds all the historical traffic there, so lot's of action, but just during Midway through the end of the year, then it slows way down.

I added some traffic to the Alaska campaign in TMO. It's more frequent then stock, but i don't think it's overboard. That said, i never tested it past a simulation run in the mission editor.
