I just need one last piece of help, how do i raise n lower pennants,have GWxgold
all modded up including the flags and pennants mod,just wanted to know if they only raise after a successfull patroll on returning to port ,any advice?

And a big thank you on my return to SH111GWX for all their help n advice-

The pennants fly on a line extending down from your periscope, all you have to do is raise it the 'scope. But I think you have to be inside the harbor for them to display. :yep:

once again! They raise as long as your seen as "In Port" the way to check this is your watch crew, if they have their binocs down, then when you hit ctrl+pg up when the scope raises all the way the pennants will come out. If not though, then they wont.

Just thought I'd add the "In Port" condition is triggered within a maximum of about three hundred meters from the dock. Once you pass this point, the pennants will no longer display.

Well, they are tonnage pennants representing the ships you've sunk, so that is probably the case. :sunny:

Can somedody tell me how to raise those pennants?
I can't find and edit that .eqp file.

Well, they are tonnage pennants representing the ships you've sunk, so that is probably the case. :sunny:

I dunno, I raised the 'scope when I was still sitting at the dock before even leaving on a patrol, when I was testing, and it came up with a whole string of pennants with tonnage marked on them. I still haven't looked into the files to get a grip on what exactly I have to edit to match my own tonnage sunk at the end of a patrol, but it appears at least as though there's some default info in the files that just gets changed as needed. :hmmm:

Well, I knew I had to edit something, I wasn't sure whether it was a matter of adding/disabling some of the text in the files or just redoing the graphics.

But is the number of pennants fixed then? I'm assuming you'd only want as many pennants as needed to show your success.

Actually I was on my way to figuring out the pennants when I started having trouble with gfx drivers and whatnot.

Still trying to figure out how to take screenshots, since the Res Fix seems to bork that now even after reverting to the older drivers. It was never a problem on my old system, now the whole game just freezes. :wah:

I grabbed a simple dohicky from Living Silent Hunter.
They have thier pantys on in that area.

Yeah, the Res Fix remaps screenshots to the PrintScreen key, which worked with no problems on my old system. Now it freezes the game more often than not, and I have to go into Task Manager and shut it down that way. Very annoying.

I thought perhaps it was a memory issue, since on my old system I wasn't able to run anywhere near the number of big mods I've got now... but I've just tried it in stock where I have no mods whatsoever and it did the same thing.

I confess I don't know all this stuff works, but it seems like the oddest thing... I put the Res Fix files back in my game folders, set up the .cfg file to run the game at 1400x1050 and put in the desired path for screenshots. Then I run the install .bat file. I start the game, try to take a screenshot with PrintScreen, and it freezes. So I close it with Task Manager, go back into the game folder and run the uninstall .bat file, change nothing else, and go back into the game... now I can take screenshots with PrintScreen and they even go to the right folder and the game doesn't crash. And it still runs at the selected resolution...

I don't know, is that how it's supposed to work? I thought if you ran the uninstall .bat file it was only to get rid of the Res Fix entirely and then you used Ctrl+F11 for screenshots again and they all went to your game folder. :hmmm:

Well, whatever, it seems to be working... for now. :O:
