I lost my mom today, different hurt, it's been coming on for months now so was expected, but what a void is left. Wasn't even gonna look here today, but checkng email glanced and saw this and wanted to say how truly sorry I am for you.

I lost my first serious love 27 years ago when I was engaged at 20. She was killed in a car wreck. I am blessed with a wonderful wife now and family, but she still has her lil part in my heart. It was my mom that pulled me through that.

It's a terrible pain...again, I am truly sorry

Yea, it creeps up on you. I think when you deal with a ill person for a period you become emotionally drained. I just feel blank and empty, almost refusing pain I guess. I saw her today and felt it finally. She was the rock of our family, life will never be the same.. Remember, I share that feeling also,Sorry, but we must try to cope through this..

I've never been a married man, nor have I much desire to be one, so I can't honestly say that I understand what you must have felt or what you feel now, but I know enough to appreciate the rarity and beauty of a good marriage.
