GWX 3.0 Base transfers/refueling etiquette

Its been so long since ive done this, (i have only been back on Sh3 for a few weeks after about 3-4 years off), but i forgot what method was used to do a successful transfer to another uboat base. Using GWX 3.0 and Sh3 what is the proper method to transfer.

i.e

U-84 is currently based at Brest and has been transfered to, hmm, lets say the 10th in Bergen. Then what? Or how about La Spezia (Gibralltaaar!!!!!).

As far as refueling. I know sh3 patrol exe is out there, it didnt come with GWX 3.0 but i kno i can dl it seperately. Is there a way to work around SH3patrol exe? Can i just dock at a utanker exit, go to sh3 commander and set time in base to 1? Then reload and BAM, im in the middle atlantic with fuel! (ill just ignore the reloaded torpdoes for realisms sake)

Using GWX 3.0 and Sh3 what is the proper method to transfer.

When you're back in base, click on the desk and then the telephone to request a transfer. Simply choose a new flotilla and then click the 'Apply for Transfer' button. :sunny:

Exactly!
If you dock at the Belchen supply ship then you can use and the torpedoes.
In the SH3patrol the number of days varies from 1-5 to simulate the fact that there might be other Ubooten to refuel before you.

Don't forget there is a simple criteria the game will adhere to before you can apply for a transfer but I'm not sure which atm but it is one of the below:

6 completed patrols or 3 months in present flotilla

6 months in present flotilla and 3 completed patrols
