Has anyone had this problem? Running TMO 2 +RSDC . When settting up for an attack using the D O'Kane method, I order all stop at my correct position and the boat carries on forward but increases speed to 20 knots. everything else is set ok except I cannot get the boat to accept the speed I want. It's ok in normal travel, But even ordering full emergency back "as I am now out of position" in an attempt to get back for the shoot, it still carries on forwards. The crew are giving me the correct orders.
Never known this before and have always used TMO versions of the game
So, there is no way I can get into a shoot position, as I'm going backwards and forwards all the time.

Not a TMO or RSRD issue. You running or have run any other mods, if so list them?
Have you tried manually setting speed by the knot dial?
Is it possible one of your keys, I think it would be #5 for flank on the keyboard is stuck, maybe
dumped some soda on it... try banging on it several times.. Sometimes I get stuck keys and obviously they'll keep giving the command.

I always use the knotmeter setting manually
Never had anything spilt on my keyboard.
No sticking keys
and always approaching the 1000yd shooting circle I am travelling at 4 knots or thereabouts. It just doesn't stop at my order.
So when I try to do it manually, it swings round to 19+ knots, I really have never seen this behavour in the past.

Is that all of your mods, and is that the exact order in which they are installed?

Well, you have TMO mods, but no TMO supermod.
Some of those other mods I wouldn't be sure about, but some could conflict, some probably overwrite changes by other mods anyway.
The added ships probably won't show up in RSRD traffic.
I would back mods out. If you don't want TMO, maybe try GFO.
Either way add mods one at a time and try them first if you're not sure
what they do.

Well, then you miss the TMO 2.1 itself as Armistead points out.
Wouldn't mind the mod that makes the boat running 20 knots submerged though... :D

So where is the TMO Supermod? I thought TMO 2 was it

TMO 2 is the supermod, but you don't have it in your list. You do have other smaller mods that can go with TMO.
There is a patch for 2.1, doesn't really fix anything, just more game play adjustments. If you want TMO and RSRD the DL order would be this.

Just a thought here because it's happened to me.
If you have the speed dial set to show knots, and want to set your speed to zero, it's easy to accidentally have your mouse pointer just slightly left of the zero mark when you click- in which case you'll get flank speed instead.
I've blown a few attacks this way. Try using the "`" key to order all-stop instead.

In my original question I said I had TMO2 + patch bringing it up to 2.1
As you show above: That's just how I had them as my first mods with all the others in order as shown below.
I have removed them all and trying just the TMO 2 patched to 2.1.
See what happens with that.
Maybe more to report after a patrol 'incident'
Thanks to all for the interest so far.

gavain2This is what probably caused the confusion because after reading this, I didn't think you had TMO installed either.:03:
