I purchased the Steam version for SH5 when it was released last year at full price.
I just recently was made aware that some of the mods here will not work on the Steam version due to encryption issues though Steam.
So I opted to buy a boxed version though Amazon for $9.00.
I just installed the boxed version and discovered that my Steam serial worked!!
So if anyone that has the Steam version wants to use the boxed version, all you need to do is "acquire" the boxed version and install it with your Steam info.
Now with 2 serials my son and I can play together.
(I'm not condoning software piracy in any way.)
